My personal experience: It is the place to go in Chennai if you want to meet up with somebody and have a chat. You can discuss business here also over a cup of coffee. The coffee is rich and blended with cream which might not appeal to the older traditional Chennaiite. The place is airy and bright. The sandwiches and muffins are really yummy
